Mission & Vision Statement

Implant and make operational Rehabilitation centers in Uganda and the great Lakes Region. Restore the diginty of people with movement disability in this subregion by: provision of affordable and adoptable mobilty devises(artificial limbs and braces) and thus enabling their reintergration into society, enabling their economic independance and enabling their contribution to national progress and economic development.

Aim and Objectives

  • To improve the quality of life for the disabled population in Uganda and but not limited to Great Lakes region and the communities around Makindye Division under Kampala City Council.
  • Training professionals in :-
    • Prosthetics
    • Orthotics
    • Physiotherapy
    • Occupational therapy
    • Science of Physiatry and Rehabiltation Medicine
  • Organize refresher courses; training in new methods and technologies, for professionals in Orthotics, Prosthetics, Physiotherapy, and Occupational therapy.
  • Organize exchange programs with other rehabilitation organizations.
  • Negotiate and contract with government and relevant international bodies / agencies with view of meeting the above objectives.
  • Attend meetings and workshops with relevant bodies / agencies.
  • To source funds necessary for mobility devices, hospital devices, hospital charges, and other related expenses needed to treat or fit patients who are unable to raise the necessary funds. (The disbursement to be done in collaboration with the relevant local community organizations).
